Tiger Shroff Still in Shock: ‘I Have No Enemies’
Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff is reportedly still struggling to come to terms with the firing incident that targeted him in Mumbai’s Juhu area, with sources saying the attack has left him deeply shaken. According to sources cited by NDTV, Tiger told the Crime Branch team that he remains in shock and cannot understand why anyone would want to carry out such a deadly attack against him.
‘Then Why Was I Attacked?’
The actor is said to have repeatedly questioned the motive behind the shooting, asking investigators: “I have no enemies… then why was I attacked?” Sources say Shroff told police he had received no threats before the attack and had no animosity towards anyone.
Shroff had earlier given a similar account to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who visited him at his home after the incident. According to people familiar with that meeting, the actor said he had no connection to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang or to Salman Khan, and had no idea why he had been targeted.
What Happened in Juhu
Three men on a motorcycle opened fire at Tiger Shroff’s car on a Sunday evening in Juhu as he was returning home from a football ground. Seven rounds were fired, targeting the vehicle’s windshield and side windows. Five bullets struck the car while two missed. After firing the fifth shot, the shooter standing near the passenger-side window approached the car and attempted to fire at Shroff from close range, but the pistol jammed.
The actor escaped without gunshot injuries, though his driver was injured in the attack. Mumbai Police later arrested the three accused from Kota railway station in Rajasthan while they were travelling by train. Two of the accused are from Haryana and one is a native of Bihar.
The Investigation So Far
Sources say the shooters had allegedly tracked Shroff’s movements and schedule for nearly 10 days before the attack, conducting a recce of his residence and gym. Investigators also revealed that the main accused, Hritik Kumar alias Roshan, had allegedly shaved his head and repeatedly changed rented accommodation to conceal his identity and evade detection, beginning nearly two months before the planned attack.
Police sources have also said the shooters were receiving live updates from their handlers during the attack. The case has drawn attention across Bollywood, with a cine workers’ body condemning the incident and demanding a crackdown on gangsters.
Why the Case Matters
The firing incident is the latest in a series of threats and attacks linked to gang networks targeting Bollywood figures. The case has raised fresh concerns about the security of film industry personalities in Mumbai, with police stepping up vigilance around high-profile actors.
For Shroff, who is known for his action films and disciplined public image, the incident has been a personal shock. Sources say he continues to cooperate with the Crime Branch investigation as police work to establish who ordered the attack and why.
