Miley Cyrus kicked off her sold-out two-night Hollywood Bowl comeback in Los Angeles on October 16, and one of her most famous guests in the crowd was left almost speechless.

Selena Gomez, star of Only Murders in the Building, attended the Friday night concert and shared her reaction on Instagram Stories, captioning a photo from the show: “speechless at the moment.” In a second update she posted a video of herself enjoying the show with friends, jokingly writing “when you come to hear Miley sing lol.”
A comeback years in the making
The two-night concert series — October 16 and 18 — marks Miley’s first major live performances in years, performed in support of her tenth studio album, Bass Persuades, her first album released under the mononym Miley. The album came out on September 18, 2026, and carries ten tracks plus a bonus track on the vinyl and limited iTunes editions.
Emotional tribute to Dolly Parton
During the concert, the 33-year-old singer also paid an emotional tribute to her late godmother, country legend Dolly Parton, performing Parton’s iconic track Jolene for the sold-out crowd.
