Kaley Cuoco and her fiancé Tom Pelphrey have welcomed their second child — a baby girl named Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey, the couple announced on October 14, 2026. The baby, nicknamed “Philo,” was born on Monday, October 12.

The announcement

Cuoco, 40, revealed the news on Instagram alongside photos of the newborn, including a family selfie and pictures of each parent holding the baby. “There are no words to describe this feeling once again. What a blessing,” the “Big Bang Theory” and “The Flight Attendant” star wrote. “We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo! Family officially complete.”

Pelphrey posted his own announcement, calling his daughter “another miracle” and writing: “Welcome to our family youngest queen!” He also praised Cuoco, writing that she “showed up in every way as a partner and a mom even when you weren’t feeling your best — you’re a CHAMPION.”

Big sister Matilda and the family

The couple’s three-year-old daughter, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey — born March 30, 2023 — is now a big sister. Cuoco shared a photo of Matilda wearing a yellow “big sister” shirt with the caption “Someone waiting at home for us!” The name Carmine connects the sisters to their maternal grandfather: it is Cuoco’s father Gary’s middle name. The name Philomena is of Greek origin, meaning “lover of strength” — a vintage name that has not ranked on the U.S. Social Security Administration’s top 1,000 girls’ names list since 1942.

Their story

Cuoco and Pelphrey began dating in May 2022 after meeting at an “Ozark” premiere, got engaged in August 2024, and announced the second pregnancy in June 2026. Cuoco described the pregnancy as “a little windier” the second time around but said the couple were grateful for the moment. In her birth announcement, she told Pelphrey: “Life exploded the minute we met, and the gifts keep coming. I love you forever, girl daddy!”
